The Artificial Intelligence, Computational Systems, and Technological Applications Laboratory (ACTA Lab) of the University of Thessaly, directed by Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems, Dr. Elpiniki Papageorgiou and Principal Investigator of project EMERALD, has received a prestigious distinction in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data. Prof. Papageorgiou and her research team won the Silver Award at the AI & Data Awards 2025 in the category AI & Data Solutions - Best Machine Learning Solution.
